I have heard of this story, and I agree; it is very depressing that so many people could walk by the injured girl without stopping to help. I have also heard that there are many theories behind this idea.
I have heard that in China there is a rule about not interfering with crime scenes; if someone would have moved the girl then they could have been charges laid against them for doing so. Perhaps this is something that should be looked into.
I think this is more of a psychological issue than anything else. There are a lot of people in China, and there is probably some kind of shared accountability taking over here. People don’t stop because they think that someone else must have stopped, or perhaps they thought that the little girl had already passed away.
Either way, it is a horrifying story, and unfortunately, probably not an isolated incident to China.
Hello there,
This is a little bit of a depressing blog…
So I was hanging out with my girl friend on the weekend and she showed me this video. It was the video of that little two year old toddler, getting ran over by a van in China.
The van runs over the kid… stops… look… and then keeps going….
Thank you for posting...Brent. Even though I had seen
