Tim Murton; not Tim Burton, but pretty close. I loved this story! This is actually really cool. This is a story found on Global News, and although Halloween might be over, this is still worth watching.
Tim Murton is a man who decorates his house every Halloween in a very special and unique way. He has created nothing less than a Zoo of artistic animals and sculptures meant to frighten and entertain the community.
This story was very well done. Not only is it an interesting story for Halloween but there are many interesting shots of the sculptures and animals both during the day and at night. Which is necessary for the story.
The only thing that I didn’t really like was the reporter’s standup. Although I know that this is s good time to have fun with a stand-up, I thought that it was a bit much having him with the mask on while speaking and then making a growling noise.
The interviews were very well done though. I liked how they got the artist talking about how he started, and how he creates his sculptures. It was much more effective then it would have been if the reporter told the viewer the information through a voiceover.
