This is a really neat story. There has been a series of stolen puppies over the past while, the most recent of which was when four British Bulldogs were stolen from a pet store. The thief would take the puppies, and then put them up for sale on Kijiji the next day.

Police have made an arrest after one of the owners gave them a call.

I thought that this story was very well done. I love some of the visuals that the camera person got of the puppies running around the Christmas tree. It immediately caught my attention and made me want to watch some more.

As well, I liked how the reporter got an interview with someone who works with Kijiji. It was interesting to find out that Kijiji will remove ads if they have reason to suspect that they are not legitimate.

I really liked the reporter’s standup. I thought that the presence of the bulldog was very effective based on the nature of the story and she still managed to pull it off looking like a professional.

One thing that I did not like about the story was when the reporter went into the history of dogs previously stolen. I’m not sure if that had anything relevant to the story aside from the fact that they were also dogs that were stolen. Unless the police suspect the same dog thief was stealing all of the dogs, then I do see how it is relevant to the story. If that is the case; then it was not made clear at all.

Regardless, it was still a good story, and very entertaining to watch.
